SA Training day Nov 2008

Another great turnout for the Oct.2008 training day hosted by Jinen Karate Jitsu. About 40 enjoyed a variety of "defence to weapons" sessions and a try at the knife comp. Guest instructors were Noel Keating of the ITF and physio therapist Phil who addressed the anatomical makeup of knees and associated injuries. Noel Keating, Mick Murphy and Kym Reid held sessions on defence to knife attacks. It was also great to have with us the representative for the KUA, Andrew McNeil. Many stayed on for pizza and soft drinks afterwards. It was good to see Bill Vaughan's (deceased) students catching up and supporting the IBF.
